Design Engineer (React/TypeScript)

What you will do

• Own and ship user-facing features end-to-end, from early concepts through polished production experiences.
• Translate design ideas into high-quality, interactive interfaces and iterate with designers based on feedback.
• Build and maintain fast, responsive, and scalable frontend applications using modern web technologies.
• Integrate APIs, shape data flows, and contribute across the stack when needed.
• Identify product friction and improve usability, consistency, performance, and UI quality.
• Use modern tools, including AI-assisted development, to deliver high-quality features quickly.

Requirements

• Strong experience building modern frontend applications with TypeScript and React.
• Deep interest in frontend development, UI quality, performance, interaction, responsiveness, and visual polish.
• Product mindset with a focus on user outcomes and end-to-end ownership.
• Experience shipping production systems and balancing delivery speed with quality.
• Comfort working with APIs and backend integrations when required.
• Strong collaboration skills when working with designers and engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or with health-related applications.
• Experience in design-heavy or product-led teams.
• Familiarity with Figma and design systems.
• Experience building LLM-powered interfaces or AI-driven products.

Hiring process

• Screening interview with Talent Acquisition.
• Technical interviews with the Engineering team, followed by an in-office System Design interview in Stockholm.
• Follow-up interview with the CTO and Co-Founder; a background check is conducted before hiring.
