Salary: $180,000–$240,000 USD per year; $175,000–$245,000 CAD per year; €116,000–€154,000 EUR per year

What you will do

• Research and develop quantization-aware training and post-training quantization techniques for deep learning models.
• Implement low-bit precision optimizations, including INT8 and BF16, and develop calibration methods to reduce accuracy loss.
• Design efficient inference algorithms focused on latency, memory footprint, and power efficiency.
• Deploy and optimize models with PyTorch, ONNX Runtime, TVM, and related AI frameworks.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize model execution on edge devices and NPUs.
• Benchmark performance across hardware and software stacks and contribute to research on distillation, sparsity, pruning, and model compression.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in deep learning, model optimization, and numerical precision analysis.
• Hands-on experience with QAT, PTQ, and mixed-precision quantization.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, CUDA, or OpenCL for performance optimization.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX Runtime, TVM, TensorRT, or OpenVINO.
• Understanding of low-level hardware acceleration and ML compiler optimization technologies, including SIMD, AVX, Tensor Cores, VNNI, XLA, MLIR, or LLVM.
