TL;DR
Fullstack Developer Intern (Fintech): Building internal tools and web applications for operational teams with an accent on React and TypeScript interfaces, Node.js and TypeScript APIs, and integrations with databases, queues, and cloud data platforms. Focus on developing data integrations with GCP and BigQuery, debugging across the application stack, and supporting Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud deployment workflows.

What you will do
- Build and maintain web interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Develop backend APIs and services with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Integrate applications with databases, REST APIs, queues, and third-party platforms.
- Build data integrations with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, including querying, validation, and operational reporting.
- Write tested, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, debug issues across the application stack, and document technical decisions.
- Assist with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud deployment tasks while collaborating with product, operations, data, and engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, with familiarity with React and Node.js.
- Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, Git, relational or NoSQL databases, and basic SQL.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar tools, ask effective questions, communicate clearly in English, and work collaboratively.
- The internship is based in Jakarta, Indonesia and lasts 6 months.
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js, Fastify, Express, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Buddy.
- Experience with BigQuery, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Redis, PostgreSQL, message queues, or background jobs.
- Experience deploying projects beyond localhost, or interest in AI-assisted workflows, browser automation, or data platforms.
