Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid workplace
Salary: From €7,000 gross per month plus a quarterly KPI-based performance bonus

What you will do
- Own the technical direction of the Webshare product engineering function and make architecture decisions across product engineering.
- Manage, hire, develop, and evaluate a team of 8–10 senior engineers.
- Own delivery outcomes, set expectations, report status and risks, and align execution with business priorities.
- Balance features, experiments, technical debt, and bug fixes while removing cross-team and infrastructure impediments.
- Drive technical excellence through code review, testing, observability, and engineering standards.
- Maintain infrastructure reliability for systems processing 650B+ requests per month, 300K+ requests per second, and 500K+ Kafka messages per second.
Requirements
- Technical background and product sensibility, with an understanding of both business rationale and implementation.
- Experience leading people and working in high-autonomy engineering cultures.
- Fluent English required for collaboration within an international team.
- Ability to own delivery, team composition, architecture, and technical direction.
Nice to have
- System architecture experience.
- SaaS, API, or developer tools experience.
- Experience with the Python ecosystem, including Django and asynchronous Python.
- Experience with high-throughput distributed systems at billion-scale.
- Knowledge of proxy, scraping, or data collection industries.
