Quant Developer (Python) (Quantitative Development): Designing and deploying efficient, scalable software workflows for quantitative research and trading with an accent on Python, C++, KDB+/q, and modern software development. Focus on owning projects across the full engineering lifecycle, maximizing software reuse across asset classes, and supporting critical components.
Location: London, Montreal, Warsaw, Hong Kong, Singapore, Madrid, Houston, or Bangalore

What you will do
- Design and build efficient, scalable workflows for quantitative research and trading.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and technology teams on software development.
- Drive cross-team initiatives and promote global consistency and reuse of software components.
- Own projects throughout the full engineering lifecycle.
- Provide level 2 support for critical components.
Requirements
- Degree in applied mathematics, physics, engineering, quantitative finance, or computer science.
- At least 4 years of experience with Python, C++, or KDB+/q.
- Knowledge of finance, data storage, processing, and analysis.
- Experience with version control and agile development.
- Excellent technical communication skills.
Nice to have
- Advanced quantitative skills.
- Experience with requirements analysis and software solution design.
- Experience with continuous integration, logging, and monitoring systems.
- Database experience.
