Junior Accountant

Location: Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines; on-site

What you will do

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and prepare payment vouchers.
• Review employee expense reports and reimbursements against company policies.
• Encode financial transactions accurately into the accounting system.
• Maintain general ledgers, sub-ledgers, and digital financial records.
• Support vendor accreditation and resolve routine billing discrepancies.
• Assist the Finance Supervisor with administrative tasks, special projects, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping; strong internship experience may be considered for fresh graduates.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including data sorting, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication abilities, willingness to learn, and capacity to meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• CPA board exam reviewee or passer, or plans to take the exam soon.
• Basic exposure to ERP or accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Xero, or QuickBooks.
