Security Researcher (AI Security)

Develops an endpoint security platform focused on visibility, context, and autonomous remediation across applications and AI tools.

What you will do

• Investigate how software and AI-powered tools such as coding assistants, agents, and LLM-integrated IDEs are used in organizations.
• Research risks including data leakage, prompt injection, supply chain exposure, and malicious extensions.
• Use telemetry, surveys, external research, SQL, and scripting to analyze real-world usage and prioritize protection areas.
• Design detection and prevention approaches and collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to ship them.
• Develop and iterate threat models, then audit product implementations against them.
• Translate research findings into practical security capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience in security research, threat research, or a closely related field.
• Comfort with data analysis in SQL and scripting languages such as Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication for explaining threat models to product managers and engineers.
• Experience taking research from an initial finding to a shipped capability.
• Ownership, accountability, open collaboration, and the ability to work effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM or AI application security, including prompt injection, agent security, model supply chain security, or securing coding assistants.
• Familiarity with developer tooling ecosystems such as IDE plugins, MCP, and package registries.
