Software Engineer, Infrastructure (AWS)

Base salary: $105,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain processes for deploying scalable, reliable software-defined networking solutions on AWS.
• Enhance the Kubernetes compute platform with AWS networking capabilities, including VPCs, route tables, security groups, load balancers, and Route53.
• Improve service communication, network monitoring, and infrastructure management.
• Promote observability best practices across engineering teams using tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
• Act as a product owner for infrastructure by gathering engineering feedback and developing cloud-native solutions.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in infrastructure or platform development and AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in Python and understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration tools such as EKS and ECS.
• Knowledge of AWS networking services, including VPC design, security groups, NAT gateways, ALBs/ELBs, Route53, AWS Network Firewall, and AWS WAF.
• Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of API Gateway solutions and a strong product- and user-centric mindset.
