is building an AI-native platform designed to automate SOX control testing and generate PCAOB-defensible narratives.
What you will do
- Review AI-generated workpaper interpretations against real-world audit standards to ensure accuracy and defensibility.
- Define ground truth across various control types, including reconciliation, management review, and IT access reviews.
- Challenge the AI's exception logic and provide professional judgment on control effectiveness.
- Identify gaps between current system outputs and auditor needs to influence the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on SOX compliance and financial audit experience, including direct workpaper preparation and review.
- Big 4 or equivalent top-tier firm background required.
- CPA certification required.
- Deep working knowledge of PCAOB standards and the COSO framework.
- Experience leading SOX workstreams for mid-to-large cap public companies.
- Must be based in Palo Alto, CA for onsite engagement.
