Senior Machinist / Construction & Field Operations Lead - Remote

hirify.global is supporting a technical project focused on evaluating field plans and training AI with practical industry expertise.

What you will do

• Review machining drawings and GD&T specifications.
• Analyze CNC setup and programming documentation.
• Evaluate construction plans and identify missing or unclear information.
• Review drilling and mine plans for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance considerations.
• Review fire and building plans against applicable US codes and standards.
• Explain technical concepts and field scenarios clearly in writing and verbally.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a master machinist, construction superintendent, drilling engineer, mine planner, cabinetmaker, fire officer, or related professional.
• Strong experience interpreting technical drawings and field plans.
• Knowledge of US construction, fire, or mining codes and standards.
• Expertise in CNC programming, machining, and GD&T.
• Experience reviewing construction, fire, or building plans is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently on remote project requirements.
