Country Manager – Tanzania (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own hirify.global’s P&L, growth targets, and market strategy for Tanzania.
• Build and manage relationships with local partners, merchants, and financial institutions.
• Lead user acquisition, activation, and retention initiatives in the Tanzanian market.
• Represent hirify.global with regulators, government bodies, and industry associations.
• Recruit, manage, and develop a local team, including community ambassadors and business development staff.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and localization recommendations to headquarters.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in country management or market leadership, ideally in fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Deep network and understanding of Tanzania’s financial, technology, or startup ecosystem.
• Proven track record of driving growth and managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English required; Swahili proficiency strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with crypto, stablecoins, or digital assets.
• Established relationships with regulators or key industry stakeholders in Tanzania.
