Backend-Focused Full Stack Engineer (Node.js, React)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; Workplace: Hybrid

Salary: €4,700–€6,300 gross per month, with flexibility based on skills and competencies.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and optimize API endpoints for client-facing products.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas, optimize queries, and manage Prisma ORM migrations.
• Develop integrations with payment, email, CRM, and other third-party services.
• Develop and support frontend features with React and Next.js.
• Deliver features across planning, development, code review, QA, production, monitoring, and incident response.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional full stack development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with professional Node.js backend experience.
• Experience with React, Next.js, RESTful API design, and development.
• Comfort using AI tools, including LLMs and code assistants, in daily workflows.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and proactively solve problems.
• Proficiency in Lithuanian and English is required.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes or Docker experience.
• Third-party API integrations such as Stripe, SendGrid, or Salesforce.
• Automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• AI/LLM-powered product integrations, message queues, or event-driven architectures.
• Observability tools, monorepos, or GitLab CI pipeline experience.
