What you will do

• Lead, develop, and retain a team of Data Engineers across junior to seasoned levels.
• Conduct structured 1:1s, performance reviews, growth conversations, and technically specific coaching.
• Maintain approximately 50% billable capacity on customer projects and act as a delivery escalation point.
• Review Statements of Work, assess scope and staffing fit, and identify delivery risks before engagements begin.
• Standardize data engineering delivery practices and lead professional development sessions across Value Delivery Europe.
• Reinforce AI-first delivery practices and stay current on AI tooling for industrial data engineering.

Requirements

• Hands-on production-grade experience with Python, SQL, REST APIs, and cloud-native pipeline development.
• At least one year of association with hirify.global's platform and products, including direct customer delivery experience; external candidates will not be considered.
• Demonstrated success developing engineers through specific coaching, feedback, and growth support.
• Confidence leading technical conversations with senior customer stakeholders and translating engineering decisions into business language.
• Strong operational judgment, including reviewing Statements of Work and addressing scope and delivery risks.

Nice to have

• Formal or informal people management, technical leadership, or structured mentoring experience.
• Deep hirify.global Data Fusion expertise, including data modelling, SDK development, AI/LLM integration, or deployment packs.
• Experience in Value Delivery or professional services environments combining delivery and team capability ownership.
• Experience hiring Data Engineers and defining expectations across levels.
