Location: Ghent, Belgium; must be based in Belgium and able to work from the Ghent office in a hybrid setup.

What you will do
- Support accurate, timely payroll and benefits administration, primarily for Belgium.
- Manage employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding, employment support, offboarding, documentation, payments, and benefits enrolment.
- Provide operational support across Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Germany in collaboration with local advisers and providers.
- Maintain accurate people data and support reporting, integrations, and People programmes.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Talent Enablement, and People colleagues on employment guidance and operational requests.
- Improve workflows, automate recurring tasks, and lead a focused AI-enabled People Operations project after becoming established in the role.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in People Operations, including payroll, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and employee support.
- Working knowledge of Belgian employment legislation and the ability to manage core employment matters independently.
- Based in Belgium and able to work from the Ghent office in a hybrid setup.
- Fluent Dutch and English required.
- Experience with an HR information system and maintaining accurate people data.
- Highly organised, proactive, curious, and able to manage competing priorities across detailed operational work and improvement projects.

- Experience supporting employees across multiple countries, particularly the United Kingdom or Germany.
- Experience improving onboarding, integrations, automation, or AI-enabled People Operations processes.
