TL;DR
Salesforce Technical Architect (AI): Designing and building secure, scalable Salesforce and enterprise integrations for hospitality commercial strategy products with an accent on Apex, Lightning Web Components, API architecture, and data platforms. Focus on hands-on development, defining architecture standards, evaluating build-versus-buy decisions, and integrating AI-assisted development into the technical roadmap.
Location: Ghent, Belgium; full-time hybrid or remote

What you will do
- Design and approve secure, scalable Salesforce architecture and integrations with ERPs, marketing automation, data warehouses, and other enterprise systems.
- Define technical architecture standards, coding standards, reference patterns, and documentation for Apex, LWC, Flow, and connected platforms.
- Remain hands-on for at least 50% of the role by designing, building, and maintaining Salesforce solutions.
- Lead performance optimization, reliability improvements, release management, environment management, and DevOps CI/CD processes.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and create high-level and low-level designs with cost and impact analysis.
- Mentor Salesforce developers, conduct code reviews, and translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
- Strong Apex, LWC, and SOQL experience, with solid software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience architecting complex, secure enterprise systems and producing HLDs, LLDs, cost analyses, and impact analyses.
- Deep knowledge of system integration patterns, API design, data modeling, migration planning, and data quality management.
- Experience with technical mentoring, code reviews, strategic decision-making, and communication with non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English required.
Nice to have
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Integration Architect, or System Architect credentials.
- Experience defining architecture standards beyond Salesforce, including data warehouses or other enterprise platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing.
- Experience with Java, Python, or C#.
