Compliance Specialist (Fintech): Supporting products, policies, controls, and business initiatives from a Brazilian regulatory perspective with an accent on Central Bank compliance, AML, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting. Focus on designing compliance controls, advising cross-functional teams, coordinating regulatory responses, and aligning Brazilian practices with global standards in collaboration with France.

Location: São Paulo, Brazil; hybrid workplace

What you will do

  • Provide compliance guidance on existing and new products, processes, and business initiatives in Brazil.
  • Assess products, procedures, and operations against Brazilian Central Bank regulations and market practices.
  • Design, review, and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Develop and execute controls for KYC, KYB, third-party due diligence, PEP screening, transaction monitoring, AML, counter-terrorist financing, gifts, conflicts of interest, and related topics.
  • Partner with Product, Innovation, Finance, Risk, Internal Controls, Legal, and international compliance teams.
  • Prepare regulatory reports, support inspections, coordinate responses to the Brazilian Central Bank, and deliver internal compliance training.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of compliance experience within entities regulated by the Brazilian Central Bank.
  • Solid knowledge of Brazilian financial regulation and compliance practices.
  • Experience with AML, KYC, KYB, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience in a payment institution, financial institution, fintech, or similar regulated environment.
  • Advanced or fluent English required for regular collaboration with international teams.
  • Degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, plus strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with credit card operations or payment products.
  • Experience working in a multinational company.
