Software QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Build and optimize test automation within CI/CD pipelines to support reliable releases.
• Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and API layers.
• Monitor test environments and results to maintain continuous test coverage.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify, document, and resolve issues.
• Improve QA standards, documentation, and testing best practices within an agile workflow.

Requirements

• Professional experience in both manual and automated QA.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch, ideally with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Ability to define QA strategy, processes, and standards in fast-paced, rapidly scaling environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native.
• Experience with performance or security testing tools.
• Background in fintech or digital banking.
