What you will do

• Perform environmental monitoring, including non-viable particle, compressed air, and differential pressure testing.
• Conduct sterilization studies, validation protocols, regulatory assessments, and autoclave qualification studies.
• Perform growth promotion testing and support microbiological laboratory testing.
• Manage laboratory materials, reagents, media, sampling equipment, waste inventories, and equipment maintenance.
• Complete laboratory documentation, review and analyze records, and support audits, investigations, SOP updates, and continuous improvement.
• Train new laboratory technicians and maintain a clean, organized, inspection-ready work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Medical Technology, Biotechnology, or a related science discipline.
• Knowledge of microbiological testing techniques, laboratory practices, and environmental monitoring.
• Ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing and laboratory environment.
• Strong organizational, documentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish are required.
• Ability to perform calculations involving percentages, proportions, volumes, and basic statistical concepts, and to analyze laboratory data.
