Legal Counsel (AI)

Location: Helsinki, Finland. Working mode: hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office.

hirify.global is building a European AI cloud infrastructure platform powered by 100% renewable energy for training, experimenting with, and deploying AI models at scale.

What you will do

• Provide legal support for commercial agreements, partnerships, employment matters, vendor relationships, procurement, and supply chain operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, SaaS agreements, infrastructure contracts, and other technology-related agreements.
• Support corporate governance, structuring, internal documentation, market entry, and international expansion.
• Assist with fundraising and M&A transactions, including due diligence and coordination with external counsel.
• Advise on intellectual property, licensing, GDPR, the EU AI Act, data protection, and other emerging regulations.
• Develop legal guidelines, templates, and training materials while partnering with compliance, security, product, technical, and commercial teams.

Requirements

• OTM, LLM, or equivalent degree from an accredited law program.
• At least 2 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and technology contracts.
• Strong working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment.
• Strong ownership, ethical judgment, professionalism, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a technology, infrastructure, or high-growth company.
• Expertise in intellectual property, corporate law, AI regulation, privacy, or data protection.
• Exposure to M&A, fundraising, corporate structuring, international expansion, or cross-border operations.
• Familiarity with the EU AI Act and other digital regulations.
• Experience coordinating external counsel across jurisdictions.
