Head of Non-Production Operations, Facilities

Location: Onsite 4 to 5 days per week at the Long Beach, California facility; U.S. work authorization required under ITAR regulations.

Base salary: $145,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and develop workplace operations teams across multiple sites, including office management, culinary services, janitorial services, groundskeeping, and related operations.
• Define and manage third-party vendor strategy across service categories to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Own workplace OPEX budgets, provide forecast-versus-budget reporting, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Partner with Real Estate to define landlord and tenant responsibilities for workplace operations.
• Work with Development Planners to establish long-term standards that improve downstream operational efficiency.
• Build scalable operations standards and support services in production areas as needed.

Requirements

• Onsite presence at the Long Beach, CA facility 4 to 5 days per week is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR.
• 7+ years of experience in workplace operations.
• Experience managing and developing teams, owning full OPEX budgets, forecasting, and identifying cost savings.
• Experience defining vendor strategies, partnering with real estate on landlord-versus-tenant lease scope, and building scalable operations processes.
• Experience scaling workplace operations across new sites and familiarity with office management, culinary, janitorial, and groundskeeping services.
