Sourcing Specialist, HBW and Automated Logistics (Automation) (automated logistics and procurement): Supporting sourcing and procurement activities for high bay warehouse, material handling, and automated logistics solutions across a global manufacturing network with an accent on supplier research, technical requirements, cost analysis, and sourcing documentation. Focus on evaluating supplier offers, preparing negotiation materials, coordinating technical clarifications, and improving the sourcing and implementation of automation projects.
Location: Billund, Denmark. Hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office. No relocation assistance is provided.

What you will do
- Support sourcing activities for high bay warehouse and automated logistics projects, including supplier research, RFQ preparation, evaluation support, and contract administration.
- Translate technical requirements from engineering and manufacturing stakeholders into clear supplier and sourcing inputs.
- Analyze suppliers and technologies such as conveyors, AGVs, AS/RS, shuttle systems, robotics, controls, software, and related services.
- Prepare data, cost comparisons, supplier performance insights, and decision materials for category managers and project teams.
- Participate in supplier meetings, technical clarifications, and negotiation preparation.
- Support purchase process compliance, documentation, risk follow-up, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, automation, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain, or a related technical field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, ideally in engineering, project management, manufacturing procurement, sourcing, or automation-related work.
- Strong interest in automated logistics, warehouse automation, material handling systems, capital equipment, or technical supplier collaboration.
- Good analytical skills and the ability to compare supplier offers and prepare decision-support materials.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and commercial stakeholders in a structured and proactive way.
- Good written and spoken English proficiency required.
