Freelance Event Specialist

Location: On-site in Clichy, France; candidates must already be based in Clichy. Local travel, nights, and weekends may be required. No relocation package is offered.

What you will do

• Prepare for events through virtual planning meetings with corporate, nonprofit, venue, and hirify.global partners.
• Set up, coordinate, and break down in-person events while aligning responsibilities across on-site teams.
• Represent hirify.global as the on-site leader, welcoming guests and managing the check-in process.
• Resolve operational issues involving supplies, staffing, technology, and event logistics.
• Provide updates, photos, and videos to the Events Team during events.
• Pack supplies, apply shipping labels, load boxes, clean event areas, and return materials to the distribution center.

Requirements

• Fluent English and strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Already based in Clichy, France and available for contract work on a per-event basis.
• Experience managing complex large-scale events and smaller executive-level events.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and ability to solve problems under pressure.
• Experience with group facilitation, managing group dynamics, and interacting with large crowds.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, travel locally, stand for extended periods, and lift, slide, or carry up to 30 lbs.
