Senior Automation Quality Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Review AI-generated test scenarios for coverage, correctness, and edge cases.
• Review AI-generated automation code as the final quality checkpoint before merging.
• Write and refine prompts, instructions, and context files for AI agents.
• Build and maintain Python automation frameworks, including page objects, clients, step definitions, fixtures, and test data.
• Design UI, API, and database test coverage and triage flaky or broken self-healing tests.
• Track regression health, test coverage, and quality metrics for the delivery team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Python, Playwright, PyTest or a similar API automation framework, SQL, and Git/GitHub.
• Experience with BDD/Gherkin and the ability to read, critique, and extend feature files.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Cursor in development or test automation workflows.
• Understanding of agentic AI systems, prompt engineering, LLM context windows, hallucinations, retrieval-augmented generation, and human review.
• Ability to work from Ohrid, Skopje, or Bitola, North Macedonia.

Nice to have

• Exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, Model Context Protocol, or AI coding assistant agent extensions.
