Senior Site Reliability Engineer (GCP/Kubernetes)

Location: Remote in Argentina; the role may transition to a hybrid model in the future, with hubs in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.

Félix is building an AI-powered financial ecosystem for Latin American immigrants in the United States, starting with WhatsApp-based remittances using AI, blockchain, and stablecoins.

What you will do

• Manage and optimize infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Helm, Go, Python, and Bash.
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and logging frameworks.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortem analyses.
• Define and track SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets for service health and performance.
• Implement cloud security, reliability, resource management, and GKE cost-optimization practices in collaboration with Engineering, Security, and Product.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an SRE or Platform Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, GKE, and Kubernetes architecture, deployments, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Programming or scripting experience with Go, Python, or Bash.
• Proficiency with Docker, Linux, Terraform, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, incident management, on-call operations, post-mortems, and production SLOs/SLIs.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, PostgreSQL or distributed databases, FinOps, and cloud security.

Nice to have

• GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
• Experience with FinOps, cloud security, regulated industries, PagerDuty, or similar tools.
