Operations Engineer (Cloud/DevOps)

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve complex application incidents by developing permanent fixes, workarounds, and temporary patches.
• Maintain application performance, data integrity, and security across production and pre-production environments.
• Manage application releases and infrastructure changes using automated deployment tools and controlled change-management practices.
• Provision and adapt hybrid, cloud, and virtualised infrastructure, and automate system provisioning with scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and orchestration platforms.
• Containerise and orchestrate applications, and implement monitoring and observability solutions for rapid incident response.
• Design, test, and document high-availability disaster recovery plans, operational runbooks, and incident-response playbooks.

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of application and infrastructure stacks, web servers, application logic, and automation scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Knowledge of Java JEE, PHP, .NET, or comparable technologies and frameworks.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, including basic querying and performance monitoring.
• Experience with component-based or service-oriented applications, containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher is required.
