Data Engineer (Spark/Scala)

Location: Onsite in Atlanta, GA, United States; must be willing to travel and relocate.

What you will do

• Build components of a large-scale data platform for real-time and batch processing.
• Own features of big data applications and adapt them to evolving business needs.
• Develop cloud-based infrastructure for batch and streaming data applications.
• Build data pipelines and processing frameworks using Scala, Spark, and Spark Streaming.
• Develop complex ETL processes and improve performance, scalability, availability, development speed, and quality.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience with the listed data engineering technologies and practices.
• Experience with Scala, Spark, Spark Streaming, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and ETL.
• Willingness to work onsite in Atlanta, travel, and relocate.
