IT Analyst / Technical Business Analyst in Dresden

Location: Dresden, Germany; primarily on-site, with partial remote work possible after onboarding and agreement

Salary: EUR 2,700–4,325 per month gross

What you will do

• Prepare, maintain, align, and structure technical documentation for software applications under assessment.
• Analyze and document software architectures, APIs, interfaces, dependencies, data flows, and relational database systems.
• Review security requirements and build, release, and deployment processes.
• Support software assessments against BSI TR-03161 and comparable security requirements.
• Prepare technical evidence, assessment artifacts, audit-ready documentation, and technical concepts.
• Identify documentation and process gaps and coordinate remediation with auditors, developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience analyzing and documenting complex software systems as an IT Analyst.
• Knowledge of software architecture, APIs, interfaces, dependencies, data flows, secure software development, and application security.
• Experience with BSI TR-03161 or comparable software security and compliance standards.
• Experience with requirements engineering, technical concepts, assessment documentation, auditable evidence, and build, release, and deployment processes.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above and German at Upper-Intermediate level or above; availability for primarily on-site work in Dresden.
