Production Training Lead (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain the manufacturing training system for safe, repeatable, high-quality production.
• Define role-based training paths, manage skills matrices, and coordinate onboarding, certification, and recertification.
• Create and maintain standard work, visual aids, work instructions, assessments, and other controlled training content.
• Run operator qualification and skills testing while maintaining traceable training records for audits and production readiness.
• Establish training governance with Production leadership, coach leaders on on-the-job training, and monitor training KPIs.
• Update training after engineering changes and process updates, aligning programs with continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in manufacturing training or industrial learning roles, preferably in high-mix or high-reliability production environments.
• Experience deploying shopfloor skills matrices, certification frameworks, and standardized work training.
• Solid understanding of Lean and continuous improvement principles, including standard work, 5S, problem solving, and daily management routines.
• Ability to create operator-friendly training materials and assessments and run train-the-trainer or coaching programs.
• Experience collaborating with Quality, Engineering, and HSE to maintain training compliance, documentation, and audit readiness.
