Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)

Location: Hybrid in Faro, Lisbon, or Porto, Portugal; office attendance averages four days per week.

What you will do

• Shape digital products and services from early discovery and experience definition through high-fidelity UI execution.
• Define user journeys, interaction models, visual designs, micro-interactions, and component behaviour across products, services, devices, and channels.
• Lead design thinking in complex and ambiguous problem spaces while framing problems, defining opportunities, and influencing product direction.
• Design scalable solutions using complex, tokenised design systems and responsive behaviour logic.
• Work across multiple clients, sectors, brands, and visual identities while managing several workstreams and stakeholders.
• Create prototypes, presentations, release notes, communication materials, and other artefacts to support research and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience delivering end-to-end product design across UX strategy, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead design in complex, fast-paced environments with incomplete or changing requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, storytelling, and design-rationale skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and experience creating structured, scalable design files for collaboration, handover, and systemisation.
• Experience with complex tokenised design systems, component architecture, variants, properties, and scalable design patterns.
• Contract position in Portugal; the selection process and CV must be in English.

• Experience working across BAU and retained delivery models.
• Experience translating user research and data into actionable design insights.
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards, conversion principles, and user-centred design best practices.
