Operational Accounting Associate III - Reconciliations (Banking)

What you will do

• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and DDAs accurately and on time.
• Identify out-of-balance conditions, unusual activity, aged items, and system outages.
• Research complex issues, resolve problems, and escalate matters when appropriate.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accounting and departmental reports.
• Work with Finance, Audit, SOX, internal business partners, and investors to resolve inquiries and support accurate financial statements.
• Update procedures, support new business initiatives, and mentor less experienced staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with account reconciliation, accounting reporting, and problem resolution.
• Ability to follow compliance, operational risk, internal control, and regulatory standards.
