Operational Accounting Associate III - Reconciliations

Salary: $20.55–$34.25 per hour

What you will do

• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and DDAs accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accounting reports for Finance, Audit, and SOX reporting.
• Identify out-of-balance conditions, unusual or aged items, system outages, and other reconciliation issues.
• Research problems, resolve routine inquiries, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Update procedures and participate in new business initiatives under management direction.
• Mentor and train less experienced staff on routine tasks and questions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience supporting accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Ability to research complex accounting issues and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
• Ability to follow internal controls, compliance requirements, and operational risk policies.
