Senior Data Engineer Consultant

What you will do

• Lead client engagements and co-design data engineering solutions from strategy through execution.
• Build scalable data pipelines and architectures for structured and unstructured data.
• Design cloud and distributed data solutions using platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure, as well as frameworks such as Spark and Kafka.
• Develop data models and optimize relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph database solutions.
• Implement batch, streaming, real-time integration, CI/CD, and DataOps practices.
• Develop internal data engineering offerings, contribute to thought leadership and business development, and mentor junior and medior consultants.

Requirements

• WO Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with substantial programming.
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent academic research.
• Proven interest in data engineering and related sectors such as energy and finance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English and fluent French are required.
• Work authorization is required; a work permit cannot be provided.
