Bankruptcy Collections Specialist III

What you will do

• Manage complex delinquent accounts involving bankruptcy, foreclosure, REO and property preservation, repossession, remarketing, legal liaison, and post-charge-off collections.
• Contact borrowers, attorneys, bankruptcy trustees, business partners, and vendors to assess repayment prospects, arrange repayment solutions, and monitor service levels.
• Conduct investigations and skip tracing, and recommend account placement with collection agencies, attorneys, brokers, and property preservation firms.
• Protect collateral interests, control costs, assess collateral condition and value, and negotiate and complete asset sales.
• Follow compliance, operational risk, internal control, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in customer service, customer-facing work, collections, a call center, or sales.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
• Detail-oriented approach and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must work in Millsboro, Delaware, United States of America.
