Lead Production Engineering Manager (AI)

hirify.global is building civilization-scale compute infrastructure to accelerate the deployment of frontier AI models.

What you will do

• Lead the compute production engineering team responsible for tens of thousands of GPUs.
• Own fleet availability by defining SLOs and building tooling to improve reliability.
• Develop automation for node lifecycle management, including provisioning, health checks, and remediation.
• Design on-call and escalation models to maintain high response standards.
• Drive operational velocity and set new industry standards for compute infrastructure at scale.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco, Austin, New York, or Seattle.
• Proven experience leading SRE or production engineering teams managing large fleets.
• Demonstrated success in improving availability metrics and shipping automated remediation.
• Strong track record of hiring and growing high-performing engineering teams.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPU or HPC fleets.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes or Slurm.
• Background in hardware failure analytics or customer-facing reliability.
