Strategy Advancement Advisor - DME Operations

Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $115,200–$158,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Support daily operational readiness and execution for a durable medical equipment pilot program.
• Serve as the DME subject matter expert for internal teams, external vendors, providers, and supplier partners.
• Design, validate, and implement workflows covering order routing, vendor assignment, authorization, documentation, fulfillment, delivery, repairs, and recurring supplies.
• Document requirements, standard operating procedures, and escalation processes.
• Monitor pilot metrics, identify risks and trends, resolve operational issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Support post-launch stabilization, lessons learned, and recommendations for future pilot expansion or modification.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8 or more years of experience in the durable medical equipment industry, preferably with a DME supplier or DME-focused operations organization.
• At least 2 years of project leadership experience.
• Experience with DME operations, including order intake, documentation review, benefit verification, prior authorization support, fulfillment, delivery, repairs, recurring supplies, and patient service.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, CMS DMEPOS coverage requirements, and DME documentation standards.
• Experience supporting operational implementations, pilots, vendor transitions, or new workflow rollouts, and analyzing operational data to recommend corrective actions.

Nice to have

• Operational leadership experience driving execution without formally owning project management.
• Proficiency in process mapping, workflow design, and procedure documentation.
• Ability to explain complex DME concepts to non-DME partners.
• Knowledge of health plan operations, preferably Medicare Advantage.
