Working Student (Automotive Virtual Sensors)

Location: Darmstadt, Germany; up to 16 hours per week

Company

Develops Virtual Sensors that replace physical sensors in vehicles and support automotive health monitoring and other transportation services.

What you will do

• Design and conduct measurement campaigns using test vehicles.
• Equip vehicles with measurement systems and collect ground-truth data.
• Learn to analyze real-world vehicle data.
• Contribute to the design and validation of Virtual Sensors.
• Gain practical experience in the automotive domain alongside studies in the Darmstadt area.

Requirements

• Currently studying Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a similar field.
• Strong affinity for hands-on mechanical and electronic work.
• Valid driving license in Germany
• Programming knowledge in Python and/or Matlab/Simulink.
• Prior knowledge of data analysis, signal processing, or vehicle technology is appreciated.
