Compliance (CySEC/AML)

What you will do

• Act as alternate AMLRO and Compliance Officer to the Head of Compliance & AML, with appointment through CySEC.
• Serve as a primary contact for CySEC and MOKAS/FIU Cyprus when the Head of Compliance & AML is unavailable.
• Prepare and submit periodic and ad hoc regulatory reports and compliance reports for the Board of Directors and regulators.
• Analyse new legislation and EU regulatory developments and propose implementation plans.
• Identify, investigate, and report suspicious money-laundering and terrorist-financing activity.
• Coordinate compliance reviews, monitoring activities, audits, regulatory inspections, marketing approvals, investigations, and compliance training.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Compliance and/or AML Officer within a CySEC-regulated entity.
• Experience with CFD/FX and crypto products, including margin trading, leverage requirements, and ESMA/CySEC product-intervention measures.
• Strong understanding of the CySEC regulatory framework and MiCA.
• Experience with KYC/KYB reviews, compliance risk assessments, transaction monitoring, and screening systems such as Sumsub or Elliptic.
• Greek and/or English language proficiency.
• Relevant qualifications such as a CySEC Advanced Examination certificate, CySEC AML Certification, ACAMS, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of other EU/EEA jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with crypto-asset regulatory frameworks beyond MiCA.
