Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland, with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; working from home on Wednesdays is generally available.

Salary: 20,833–30,000 PLN gross per month on a Contract of Employment (UoP), plus equity in Asana Inc.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and scale end-to-end data products for growing data processing and analytical needs.
• Build data artifacts supporting marketing stakeholders and data-informed decision-making.
• Develop frameworks and tooling used by data and analytics engineering teams.
• Drive best practices and adoption for Databricks and cloud-based data engineering.
• Use AI to build self-serve tools and accelerate data and go-to-market workflows.
• Implement systems that ensure data quality, governance, and availability while partnering with business and Data Infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience with cloud-based data processing and storage technologies, including Databricks, Spark, and Airflow.
• Fluent SQL skills and proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities, propose solutions, and execute them effectively.
