Senior Supplier Quality Engineering Supervisor

Location: Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland

Salary: CHF 132,000–198,000 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan short-term incentive.

What you will do

• Manage and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers responsible for component, material, and service quality.
• Set priorities, performance goals, and departmental objectives while conducting reviews and regular one-to-one meetings.
• Build monitoring systems for supplier and team performance, training, nonconformances, open actions, Supplier CAPA, and supplier change management.
• Lead cross-functional investigations into supplier-related quality and compliance issues identified during incoming inspection or production.
• Direct corrective and preventive actions addressing nonconformances, CAPA activities, audit findings, and complaint investigations.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing controls and support internal and external audits and inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills for direct reports.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project planning skills.

Nice to have

• MBA or a master’s degree in engineering, science, or a technical field.
• ASQ CQE, CQA, and/or CSQP certification.
• First Time Quality Coach, Six Sigma, Lean Green Belt, or Lean Black Belt certification.
