Test & Validation Senior Associate Engineer

Location: Wuxi, Jiangsu, China; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Resolve design and manufacturing issues while supporting design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
• Adopt automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing technologies to improve efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Plan and improve testing procedures to make test operations reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
• Monitor test results, machine capabilities, process capabilities, and performance reliability.
• Design, execute, and interpret engine dyno, emissions, and performance validation activities.
• Analyze engine performance data and communicate technical recommendations to engineering teams, management, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in engines or internal combustion engines.
• 1–3 years of professional industry or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of engine combustion, air handling, fuel injection, turbocharging, EGR, and aftertreatment technologies.
• Experience validating diesel engine performance, including combustion, emissions, fuel consumption, and transient response.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, decision-making, project management, and technical communication skills.
• Fluent English and the ability to collaborate across different time zones are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering with experience in engine performance system development.
• Experience with NPI, NTI, and CPI product development processes.
