Middle Frontend Developer (World of Warships)

Location: Belgrade, Serbia; onsite during the probation period, then hybrid with 3 office days and 2 work-from-home days per week

What you will do

• Develop and maintain World of Warships event pages, web adventures, mini-games, widgets, game mechanics, and portal modules.
• Build frontend solutions with Vue 3, TypeScript, Composition API, and related tooling while supporting production code written in vanilla JavaScript.
• Implement REST API integrations, JSON-driven interfaces, complex animations, interactive behavior, and visual-heavy web experiences.
• Prepare and maintain frontend bundles for CMS integration and support reusable components, UI patterns, and shared frontend approaches.
• Optimize animation-heavy and mobile-heavy pages, including asset loading, rendering, lazy loading, browser behavior, and overall frontend performance.
• Ensure functionality across devices, browsers, regional versions, and language configurations while collaborating with designers in Figma.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including strong knowledge of ES6+ and browser APIs.
• Strong HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS skills, plus 2+ years of practical Vue 3 experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, Composition API, mobile web development, REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous client-server interactions.
• Experience implementing complex animations and interactive interfaces, working with CMS or content-driven web projects, and maintaining existing production codebases.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, platform quirks, frontend performance, and implementation quality.
• English sufficient for technical communication and documentation; confident use of Figma.

Nice to have

• Experience with Three.js, WebGL, GSAP, ScrollTrigger, Pinia, Vite, web analytics, Node.js tooling, design systems, or custom UI kits.
• Knowledge of frontend delivery pipelines involving Nginx, CDN, object storage, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Basic Photoshop skills and experience with multilingual, multi-regional, animation-heavy, 3D, or web-graphics projects.
• Russian language skills and links to relevant interactive web, mini-game, animation, or 3D projects.
