TL;DR
Lead Software Engineer (C#): Building and modernizing internal clinical research applications in a hybrid and cloud-native environment with an accent on enterprise software architecture, API design, and full-stack development. Focus on leading application workstreams, designing scalable services, supervising software validation, and mentoring junior engineers.
Location: Office-based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with occasional work from home available for eligible positions after training.

What you will do
- Lead development for application components and software workstreams.
- Design, build, deploy, maintain, and support applications in an Agile SDLC environment.
- Develop cloud-native and hybrid applications using C#, Angular, ASP.NET, SQL, and Entity Framework.
- Coordinate requirements, architecture, development, testing, releases, and maintenance.
- Organize development activities, recommend engineering best practices, and provide technical mentorship.
- Supervise software validation and provide end-user training and troubleshooting support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of enterprise software development experience with C# and the SDLC.
- Experience with Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks, REST endpoints, microservices, web services, HTML5, CSS3, Entity Framework, GitHub, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with application architectures, versioning, and API design.
- Strong analytical, written, oral communication, and computer skills.
Nice to have
- At least 2 years of recent web development and Azure experience.
- Experience modernizing legacy systems.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience.
