Staff Accountant, Payments

What you will do

• Interpret accounting data, analyze reports, and recommend actions.
• Prepare complex journal entries, maintain ledgers, and reconcile cost accounts.
• Maintain property accounting records and support financial statement preparation.
• Prepare management reports and review financial statements for operating trends.
• Calculate payments to regulatory authorities using contracts and regulations.
• Develop automated Oracle routines, including mass allocations and recurring journal entries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, general accounting, and payments management.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime when necessary.
