Unibeam C++ Software Engineer

What you will do

• Design and develop optimized software for next-generation high-end processing products.
• Build efficient data flows and implement performance-critical real-time image processing software.
• Make technical decisions supporting application scalability, performance, and efficiency.
• Develop software for hardware-dependent components such as frame grabbers and dedicated boards.
• Collaborate with systems, architects, and other software groups to deliver products into production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of C++ development experience, including C++11/17.
• Experience with Windows development, advanced memory management, and large optimized codebases.
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization to millisecond or sub-millisecond requirements.
• Knowledge of hardware-dependent software, image processing algorithm implementation, and modern RPC APIs such as gRPC.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, linting, static code analysis, and automated CI pipelines, along with the ability to provide technical leadership.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Linux development experience.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, IPP, OpenCV, or Python.
• Experience improving solution quality and defining a technical roadmap.
