What you will do

• Identify investment opportunities and analyze the fundamental credit positions of companies across performing high-yield and stressed bonds.
• Provide real-time opinions on breaking corporate and macroeconomic news.
• Evaluate special situations, including mergers and acquisitions, liability management exercises, restructurings, and other corporate actions.
• Collaborate with fixed income, ETF, derivative, and equity traders on investment ideas and take ownership of risk.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis of potential credit events from both long and short perspectives.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial markets or progress toward CFA qualification.
• Experience in credit analysis, fixed income trading, and/or cross-asset research.
• Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills.
• Demonstrable interest in macroeconomic conditions and political events.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work additional or flexible hours when necessary.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with a catalyst- or event-driven trading environment.
• CFA qualification progress.
