DevOps Engineer (CI/CD)

Location: Rehovot, Israel; onsite role with approximately 10% travel. Fixed-term position for one and a half years; relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support moderately complex DevOps and infrastructure solutions for on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation components following established best practices.
• Support containerized applications and deployment workflows, including troubleshooting and optimization.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and system integration issues.
• Create technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with software engineers, IT, and DevOps colleagues on application integration, deployment schedules, operational stability, requirements, and status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software/System Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps or Software Development roles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and workflows in Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and basic container orchestration concepts.
• Experience with DevOps platforms such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Nexus, or Jira.
• Experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
• Working knowledge of Linux administration, networking fundamentals, operating systems, and application build and deployment processes.

Nice to have

• Software development experience, preferably with Java or Python.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK, or Grafana.
• Strong technical documentation skills and ability to follow established engineering processes.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced R&D environment.
