iOS Engineer (Connected Living)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite collaboration is generally preferred. Must be available for nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.

What you will do

• Design and develop Android and iOS mobile applications with accessibility, localization, offline, and user-experience requirements.
• Support software updates, release roll-outs, routine maintenance, and integration of advanced mobile technologies.
• Conduct peer code reviews and optimize application performance against development standards.
• Implement comprehensive testing with the Quality Assurance team and maintain technical requirements and test documentation.
• Provide post-launch support, monitor application performance, and incorporate user feedback into product improvements.
• Exercise independent judgment, collaborate across teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
• Experience with Apple iOS and mobile application development.
• Knowledge of mobile technologies, GitHub, accessibility, localization, offline functionality, testing, and code review practices.
• Regular, punctual attendance and availability for nights, weekends, and variable schedules are required.
