Senior iOS Engineer (iOS)

Location: Remote, with availability to work on the Americas time zone. Company office: Los Angeles, California, USA.

hirify.global provides a cloud-based scheduling, payments, point-of-sale, and automated marketing platform for multi-location service businesses and franchises.

What you will do

• Build, launch, and support features in a 100% native iOS application.
• Develop functionality for appointment scheduling, payments, and client engagement.
• Refactor existing code, improve testability, write internal documentation, and test features and systems.
• Participate in architecture and implementation of new user-facing features with a focus on security and scalability.
• Collaborate with the CTO, product managers, QA, and other contributors.
• Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, hiring interviews, and ongoing app optimization.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience developing native iOS applications.
• Strong knowledge of Objective-C and Swift.
• Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks, especially UIKit and Core Data.
• Experience with Instruments, XCTest, Git, and iOS libraries and tooling.
• Experience building substantial parts of an iOS application and writing high-quality, maintainable code.
• Ability to work in an iterative, agile development process with frequent releases.

Nice to have

• Experience refactoring large codebases.
• Experience with SwiftUI.
• Bitrise management experience.
• Apps deployed to the App Store or GitHub projects.
