Graphic Designer – Packaging Artwork (Packaging)

What you will do

• Prepare and adapt customer artwork for customised packaging products using approved templates, layouts, brand guidelines, and briefs.
• Apply logos, colours, text, images, typography, and layouts accurately while maintaining brand consistency.
• Review, proof, and prepare production-ready artwork for digital and print reproduction.
• Manage artwork revisions, approvals, sign-offs, file naming, documentation, libraries, and version control.
• Collaborate with Packaging, Operations, Sales, customers, suppliers, and manufacturers to clarify requirements and resolve production issues.
• Provide occasional design support for marketing activities, promotions, trade shows, and conferences.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in graphic design, artwork production, packaging artwork, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
• Experience adapting existing design templates to specific customer requirements.
• Strong understanding of print-ready artwork, production requirements, typography, layout, colour, and image placement.
• Excellent attention to detail, file management, version control, communication, organisation, and deadline management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and a current driver's licence.

Nice to have

• Experience in packaging, print production, customised products, or similar industries.
• Marketing coordination experience.
• Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
