Senior Mixed-Signal / Analog Hardware Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Oakland, California, United States. The role may be hybrid or fully onsite, with full onsite work expected when needed.

Salary: $170,000–$250,000 USD annually, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Design instrumentation and telemetry measurement circuits, precision current sources, and high-quality amplifiers.
• Develop circuits around ADCs, DACs, and signal-conditioning systems.
• Design sensor interfaces for temperature, light, and audio, as well as LED drivers.
• Own power sequencing and EMC-aware analog design.
• Lead analog design reviews and help establish analog and EMC design practices.
• Characterize and validate analog performance in laboratory environments.

Requirements

• Strong background in mixed-signal and precision-analog design.
• Experience with instrumentation, telemetry, current-source, and power-amplifier design.
• Experience designing ADC/DAC circuits, signal conditioning, sensor front ends, and LED drivers.
• Experience with EMC/EMI-aware design and mitigation.
• Ability to characterize noise, bandwidth, and accuracy in the lab.
• Ability to work in Oakland, California, in a hybrid or fully onsite arrangement as required.
