Senior Data & Forecasting Analyst (Python)

Location: On site in Westlake, TX or Austin, TX

Salary: USD $125,000–$160,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Analyze and forecast Operations resource capacity to optimize staffing and service delivery.
• Lead the research, design, and development of predictive models and reporting solutions.
• Use Python and data analysis techniques to streamline data processes and generate insights.
• Partner with business, IT, Corporate Strategy, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Develop short- and long-term forecasts and convert them into practical staffing plans.
• Support project management, scope related initiatives, resolve issues, conduct retrospectives, and mentor other analysts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar analytics role and 5 years of experience with Agile frameworks.
• Strong Python proficiency, including Pandas, NumPy, and machine learning or forecasting libraries.
• Experience with Tableau and Power BI, plus strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• High proficiency in statistical modeling, data quality assessment, structuring, optimization, analysis, and interpretation.
• Strong analytical storytelling, presentation, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• BS or BA degree required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARIMA, Prophet, and time series analysis.
• SQL experience for data extraction and manipulation.
• 2+ years of program management experience.
• Application development resource capacity reporting experience.
• Experience with Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, or similar collaboration tools.
• Experience in a highly regulated financial services environment.
